Sharia Question: Who taught the funeral of Hazrat Ali and where are they buried? Sharia Reply: According to the correct tradition: Abdurrahman ibn Muljam assassinated to Hazrat Ali (RA) during the Fajr prayer in the mosque of Kufa during the forty-seventh Hijrah of Ramadan. Due to which you were martyred in the month of Ramadan. The funeral was performed by Hazrat Hassan, Hussein, Hanifa and Abdullah bin Jafar. The funeral was taught by Hazrat bin Ali ibn Abi Talib and he was buried in Kufa near the Governor's House but his grave was kept secret because he feared to disgrace the foreigners. سوال:حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا جنازہ کس نے پڑھایا اور وہ مدفون کہاں پر ہیں؟ جواب: صحیح روایت کے مطابق حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ پر کوفہ کی جامع مسجد میں چالیس ہجری سترہ رمضان بروز جمعۃ المبارک نماز فجر کے وقت عبد الرحمن ابن ملجم نے قاتلانہ حملہ کیا۔ جس کی وجہ سے آپ رضی اللہ عنہ انیس رمضان المبارک کو شہید ہو گئے۔ کفن دفن حضرت حسن، حسین، حنیفہ اور عبد اللہ بن جعفر رضی اللہ عنہم نے کیا اور باقی لوگ بھی ساتھ تھے۔ جنازہ حضرت حسن بن علی بن ابی طالب نے پڑھایا اور آپ رضی اللہ عنہ کو گورنر ہاؤس کے پاس کوفہ میں ہی دفن کیا گیا لیکن آپ رضی اللہ عنہ کی قبر مبارک کو خفیہ رکھا گیا کیونکہ خارجیوں کے بے حرمتی کرنے کا ڈر  تھا۔ حافظ ابن کثیر، البدایۃ والنھایۃ، 7 : 330، 331، مکتبۃ المعارف بیروت
